El Villarreal CF visita al colista de LaLiga
Segunda jornada para el Villarreal en el transcurso de solo tres días. En esta ocasión viaja hasta Huesca para enfrentarse al colista de la competición. El Huesca ocupa en estos momentos un puesto preocupante para sus intereses: es último, con solo una victoria de entre los 19 partidos que ha disputado, es el equipo menos efectivo de cara a la portería contraria y uno de los más goleados.
Con esta tarjeta de presentación el Villarreal, evidentemente, debe de conseguir la victoria y los puntos en juego. En Huesca se encontrará con algún conocido, como Javi Ontiveros, cedido desde septiembre pasado. El otro conocido de la afición es el portero Andrés Fernández , pero estará ausente por positivo de coronavirus.
En contra el equipo amarillo tiene la baja de Gerard Moreno , que sufrió un daño muscular en el sóleo de la pierna izquierda y estará de baja unas tres semanas. A pesar de ello el Villarreal debe de intentar hacerse con los tres puntos, tras el empate cosechado en casa frente al Granada no queda que ir a por la victoria ante uno de los equipos que peor lo está pasando sobre el césped aunque eso, en ocasiones, también es un arma de doble filo.

Suspendidos los entrenamientos del fútbol base
La resolución de la Generalitat Valenciana afecta a todos los equipos amarillos inscritos en competiciones de ámbito territorial o inferior
El Villarreal CF ha suspendido los entrenamientos del fútbol base a partir de este miércoles y hasta al menos el 3 de febrero, tras las restricciones adoptadas por la Generalitat Valenciana como consecuencia del agravamiento de la situación sanitaria ocasionada por el covid-19.
El cese de la actividad deportiva decretado por el gobierno valenciano afecta a los equipos que compiten en ámbito autonómico o inferior. Por tanto, quedan suspendidos los entrenamientos de los conjuntos de fútbol 8, los equipos cadetes, infantiles y el Juvenil C, así como los distintos grupos de Psicomotricidad.
Continuarán con la actividad deportiva los equipos adscritos a competiciones de ámbito nacional y dependientes de la RFEF: el Villarreal B, Villarreal C, el Juvenil A, el Juvenil B, el Femenino A y el Femenino B.
