Unai Emery destaca la exigencia de un partido «duro y difícil» ante uno de los conjuntos más en forma de LaLiga
El entrenador del Villarreal CF, Unai Emery, compareció en rueda de prensa para analizar el encuentro liguero ante el Celta de Vigo en el Estadio de Balaídos (viernes, 21.00 horas): “Es un partido importante para mostrar cómo estamos ante un rival que atraviesa un buen momento como el Celta de Vigo. Nos van a exigir mucho y es un reto ilusionante para nosotros ver cómo somos capaces de responder. Ahí es donde nosotros queremos dar un paso más”.
El técnico del Submarino augura que el partido ante los celestes será largo y complicado: “Va a haber muchos momentos donde nosotros querremos imponer nuestra idea, pero es un rival que está en un momento de confianza muy alto, pese a la eliminación copera. Tenemos que ir preparados para jugar como equipo y la clave estará en ser capaces de mantener la solidez durante los noventa minutos. Será un test duro y difícil”.
Por último, el entrenador vasco destaca la relevancia del encuentro para seguir luchando por los puestos europeos: “Queremos ilusionarnos, exigirnos y ser capaces de competir contra los equipos más fuertes de la liga. El partido de mañana es importante para poder hacer buenos los empates conseguidos en el último mes y para mantener la regularidad y el rendimiento que nos exigimos”.
