Un clásico de la competición visita el Estadio de la Cerámica
El Villarreal vuelve a jugar en casa, aunque siga siendo sin público, y lo hace en esta ocasión para recibir a uno de los clásicos de la competición liguera, el Athletic de Bilbao. Los vascos son de los pocos que pueden decir que nunca han descendido a la segunda división del fútbol español y, junto a Real Madrid y Barcelona, los únicos que aún siguen siendo un club deportivo y no una Sociedad Anónima Deportiva.
La historia de los rojiblancos está repleta de momentos de buen fútbol y de un aire a equipo de leyenda. Esta no está siendo la mejor de sus temporadas pues el equipo de Gaizka Garitano se ha mostrado enormemente irregular a pesar de contar con una plantilla bastante equilibrada. A pesar de todo siguen en la parte media de la tabla y puede dar el salto en cualquier momento. Enfrente estará un Villarreal que, tras la última victoria en Pamplona, sigue luchando en los puestos de Champions.

El club aprueba sus cuentas de la 19-20 y da el visto bueno al presupuesto de la 20-21
Se celebró este pasado lunes la Junta General Ordinaria de Accionistas del Villarreal CF SAD en la Ciudad Deportiva, con la asistencia del 98,78 % por ciento del capital social del club y en la que también se acordó la reelección de los mismos miembros del Consejo de Administración por un plazo de cinco años. El resto de puntos fueron los siguientes:
- Se aprueban las cuentas anuales de la sociedad, comprensivas del balance, las cuentas de pérdidas y ganancias, la memoria y el informe de gestión del ejercicio cerrado el 30 de junio de 2.020, así como la aplicación de los resultados obtenidos de 993.879,32.-€ de pérdidas, que se acuerda destinarlos íntegramente a reservas voluntarias.
- Se aprueba el presupuesto para la temporada 2.020/2.021, que comprende unos ingresos estimados de 117.272.000,00.-€ y unos gastos de 117.207.000,00.-€, con unos beneficios previstos de 65.000,00.-€.

Defensa lateral derecho , rápido y gran asistente desde la banda cuando ataca pero, a la vez, difícil de batir en el balance defensivo. Debutó con la Selección Española, de la mano de Vicente del Bosque, un 12 de octubre de 2015, anotando un gol de cabeza, lo que valió para entrar en el selecto grupo de debutantes goleadores con la selección absoluta.
Equipos anteriores: Noveldense CF y Fundación Albacete.
Temporada 19-20: 25 partidos, 2.215 minutos y 2 asistencias.
