Duelo de amarillos, y de submarinos
La jornada 7 nos trae el duelo de amarillos de LaLiga, aunque en el día de hoy uno de ellos cambiará de indumentaria. El Cádiz frente al Villarreal en el duelo del Carranza, duelo de amarillos. Y duelo de submarinos pues desde hace tiempo se mantiene una curiosa disputa entre aficiones sobre cuál de los dos equipos es verdaderamente el primer «Submarino Amarillo» del fútbol español. La historia no deja lugar a dudas y el primer «submarino futbolístico español» de la historia pertenece al Villarreal desde casi dos décadas antes que a los gaditanos.
La jornada 6 finalizó para ambos equipos con clasificaciones en la parte alta de la tabla, la segunda, empatado a puntos con el líder, para el Villarreal y la quinta para el Cádiz, en zona Europa League y a tan solo un punto del auténtico «Submarino Amarillo».

El Villarreal renueva su convenio con el CE Vila d’Onda, Benicarló BF y UD Vall de Uxó
El Villarreal CF ha renovado el convenio que mantenía con tres clubes de la provincia de Castellón dentro del proyecto Endavant Futbol Provincial. Así, el club seguirá colaborando en materia de fútbol base con el CE Vila d’Onda, Benicarló BF y UD Vall de Uxó.
El acuerdo se rubricó en la Ciudad Deportiva con la presencia del Director de la Secretaría técnica fútbol base del Villarreal CF, Andrés Pardo; y de los presidentes del CE Vila d’Onda, David Palacios; del Benicarló BF, Juan Bosch ; y de la UD Vall de Uixó, Ximo Guzmán.
Todos ellos estuvieron acompañados del miembro de Relaciones Institucionales del Villarreal CF, Tino Traver; así como el director de F11 de la Cantera Grogueta, Héctor Font; y el director de metodología del fútbol base amarillo, Luis Arnau .
Además de estos tres acuerdos dentro de Endavant Futbol Provincial, cabe recordar que el Villarreal CF mantiene un acuerdo de colaboración con varios clubes nacionales e internacionales en cuestión de formación de jugadores y técnicos. Muchos jóvenes talentos que comenzaron a formarse en estos clubes ya se encuentran totalmente integrados dentro de la Cantera Grogueta.

El Villarreal presenta a sus jugadores y técnico para competir esta temporada en FIFA 21
El Villarreal CF ha presentado sobre el césped del Estadio de la Cerámica a su equipo para participar esta temporada en las competiciones virtuales tanto nacionales como internacionales de FIFA 21
Así, el Submarino y QLASH Spain vuelven a ir de la mano por segunda temporada consecutiva. De este modo, el equipo amarillo estará representado por Rafael Riobó y Alejandro Hidalgo como jugadores y por Rubén Ripoll como entrenador y mánager del equipo. El director de QLASH en España, Diego Griñán, también participó en el acto celebrado en el Estadio de la Cerámica.
Riobó, más conocido como Ralfitita, repite luciendo los colores del Villarreal CF y es uno de los mejores jugadores de FIFA a nivel nacional. Además, ejerce la profesión de bombero, la que comparte con su pasión por los videojuegos. En diciembre de 2019 se proclamó campeón del Circuito Dragón de FIFA de ION Esports y también llegó a la Fase Final de eLaLiga en la recta final de la temporada 19/20.
A su lado tendrá a Alejandro Hidalgo, un joven jugador de FIFA de tan solo 18 años que se suma a proyecto con una tremenda ambición y proyección. Las riendas del equipo las llevará Rubén Ripoll, también conocido por Kensuke cuando era jugador.

Jugó el Mundial Sub-17 de Chile con Nigeria en 2015, aunque su verdadera ascensión deportiva comenzó en la temporada 2017/2018 destacando en el Juvenil A del Villarreal y, de inmediato, en el Villarreal B. Las dos últimas temporadas ha sido un jugador importante pare el primer equipo del Villarreal CF.
