El Real Madrid – Atlético de Madrid es, sin duda, el partido destacado de la jornada 13 de LaLiga. Los dos equipos de la capital se enfrentan con bastantes asuntos en juego. Este año es el Atlético el que parece estar más en forma y el Real el que está teniendo más dificultades, tanto en resultados como en el juego desplegado. El Atlético, con un partido menos que su rival, es el líder de la competición y le lleva seis puntos al Madrid.
Quizá lo que más destaca de entre los números del Atlético de Madrid es que en diez partidos haya encajado solo dos goles, lo que demuestra el nivel defensivo que está teniendo el equipo colchonero. Pero no solo eso, la consistencia de los de Simeone también se traduce en la eficiencia de cara a portería, 21 goles anotados en los 10 partidos jugados dan muestra de ello. Habrá que seguir de cerca lo que sucede en Valdebebas, terreno de juego que dirimirá la contienda.
Por otra parte, el Villarreal viaja a Sevilla para enfrentarse al equipo de un viejo conocido, el Betis de don Manuel Pellegrini. Seis puntos separan al Submarino, tercero en la tabla, del Betis, que es octavo. El Betis es, en este momento, el único equipo que no ha cosechado ningún empate en lo que llevamos de competición y que ha demostrado en sus partidos cierto desnivel en la forma de enfrentar cada jornada. A pesar de todo no es un mal equipo y cuenta, además, con un excelente entrenador por lo que el Villarreal deberá estar con todos los sentidos sobre el césped para llevarse los 3 puntos en juego.
