El atacante amarillo defenderá los intereses de la selección nigeriana en dos compromisos oficiales ante Sierra Leona
El atacante del Villarreal CF Samu Chukwueze ha sido convocado por la Selección de Nigeria para disputar dos encuentros clasificatorios para la Copa Africana de Naciones ante Sierra Leona. Los duelos, programados para el 13 y el 17 de noviembre, se celebrarán en el Obge Stadium de Benin City (Nigeria) y en el Estadio Nacional de Sierra Leona, respectivamente.
La Selección de Nigeria es líder de la Fase de Clasificación para la Copa Africana de Naciones, al haber cosechado dos victorias en sus dos primeros compromisos. Las ‘Águilas Verdes’ están encuadradas en el Grupo L, junto a Benín, Lesoto y Sierra Leona.
Los partidos que jugará Samu Chukwueze con la Selección de Nigeria son los siguientes:
- Viernes, 13 de noviembre: Nigeria-Sierra Leona, en el Ogbe Stadium de Benin City (Nigeria).

Pedraza, un valor seguro en la banda izquierda
El futbolista cordobés dominó el lado izquierdo del juego y repartió la asistencia del primer gol amarillo
Alfonso Pedraza fue vital en la victoria del Villarreal en la última jornada de LaLiga ante el Real Valladolid (2-0). El jugador cordobés fue muy incisivo partiendo desde el costado izquierdo y generó la jugada del primer gol ‘groguet’. Se anticipó a su rival, recuperó el balón, se zafó de dos defensores gracias a su gran zancada y sirvió un excelente pase al corazón del área para que Chukwueze batiera al meta blanquiazul.
Pedraza, además, fue el jugador que más esprints completó del equipo de Emery. En un total de 37 acciones alcanzó una velocidad superior a 21 kilómetros por hora.
Del total de los 66 minutos que estuvo sobre el césped del Estadio de la Cerámica, Pedraza concluyó 67 acciones de juego, convirtiéndose así en una pieza ofensiva fundamental del equipo. Acertó el 86% de los pases intentados, ejecutó un remate y, finalizó con éxito el 71% de los regates que intentó.
En la parcela defensiva, su actuación también fue extraordinaria. En los minutos disputados recuperó seis balones y ganó el 100% de los duelos aéreos.
