Unai Emery alaba el esfuerzo de los suyos para doblegar al Cádiz en La Cerámica
El Villarreal superó al Cádiz en el Estadio de la Cerámica y ya acumula cuatro victorias consecutivas entre LaLiga y la UEFA Europa League. Los goles del trabajado triunfo amarillo fueron de Gerard (penalti) y Bacca; mientras que Álex le puso emoción a los minutos finales con el tanto gaditano (2-1).
El técnico del Villarreal CF, Unai Emery, se ha mostrado muy satisfecho con la labor de los suyos en la trabajada victoria ante el Cádiz en el Estadio de la Cerámica (2-1). “La palabra es satisfacción. Llevamos dos partidos seguidos de Liga con victoria. Necesitábamos ganar en casa y lo hicimos contra un rival incómodo. El equipo supo competir y sufrir en los últimos minutos. Quisimos buscar la portería contraria al final y el equipo trabajó muy bien. Nos colocamos cerca de los puestos europeos y eso nos da cierto aire”, comentó.
Para Emery, superar al conjunto gaditano fue muy complicado, pero demuestra la implicación del grupo: “Cuando ganas y sufres se demuestra que no es fácil. El Cádiz compite muy bien. Me quedo con el trabajo porque los tres puntos eran muy importantes. Estamos recuperando sensaciones en cuanto a la clasificación. Ahora nos toca descansar”.
