La jornada 12 del campeonato nos acerca diversos partidos de esos en los que se decide el campeón del torneo y también los equipos que finalmente descienden. De entre todos ellos es quizá el Sevilla – Real Madrid el que destaca a primera vista. Cuarto contra quinto. Un Sevilla que siempre es poderoso en su terreno de juego frente a un Real Madrid dubitativo e inseguro que viene de complicarse la clasificación en la fase de grupos de la Champions League, esa competición que, en otros tiempos no tan lejanos, tan bien se le daba. No obstante el Madrid siempre es un equipo peligroso, por lo que el partido puede ser, en principio, de esos que resulta imposible dejar de mirar.
Otro de los partidos interesantes de la jornada, independientemente del Elche – Villarreal, es el derbi vasco entre el Alavés y la Real Sociedad. El Alavés no ha tenido un comienzo de campaña excesivamente bueno, algo que sí ha conseguido materializar la Real Sociedad, que es el líder actual de la competición, aunque con dos partidos menos disputados que el Atlético de Madrid, que es segundo. Un derbi siempre es un derbi, así que habrá que estar atentos a lo que sucede en Mendizorroza.
Por otra parte, mañana domingo a las 18:30 horas el Villarreal recibe al Elche en el Estadio de la Cerámica. Los de Emery siguen en trayectoria ascendente por lo que el Elche no tendría que ser un obstáculo para seguir con la buena dinámica que vienen presentando. Pero, como ya sabemos, los partidos hay que jugarlos y nunca se sabe lo que puede terminar de suceder sobre el césped.
