El entrenador del Villarreal ha destacado que el equipo debe seguir trabajando para volver a la senda de la victoria
El entrenador del Villarreal, Unai Emery, ha comparecido ante los medios de comunicación para analizar el empate cosechado en el Estadio Martí nez Valero (2-2). El técnico de Hondarribia ha reconocido que el equipo no ha hecho una buena segunda mitad: “El segundo tiempo era para afianzar el partido y hemos perdido 20 minutos que ellos han sabido aprovechar. Nos han apretado arriba y no hemos encontrado la fórmula para sobreponernos”.
Pese al empate, Emery ha querido destacar la actuación colectiva del conjunto amarillo durante el primer tiempo: “Hemos estado bien al principio, encontrando una gran versión del equipo con la vuelta de Gerard Moreno . Sin él, nos ha faltado un referente en la parcela ofensiva. Debemos seguir trabajando para encontrar soluciones cuando él no esté”.
Por otro lado, el entrenador vasco también ha valorado el punto como insuficiente y ha resaltado que el equipo debe volver a la senda de la victoria: “No estamos perdiendo, pero los empates nos penalizan para seguir en la parte alta. Necesitamos encontrar la regularidad en el triunfo. No queda otra que seguir trabajando hasta que lo logremos. La semana que viene nos ayudará a recuperar futbolistas y crecer en sensaciones. Nos quedan muchos aspectos por mejorar”.
