El entrenador del Villarreal destaca el entramado ultradefensivo del Elche en el Estadio de la Cerámica
El entrenador del Villarreal CF, Unai Emery, destacó que el equipo mereció más ante el Elche, aunque reconoció el buen trabajo defensivo del rival: “El Elche ha creado un sistema defensivo muy fuerte. Jugaba con cuatro defensas y dos carrileros, que por el momento eran línea de seis. La noticia positiva es que ellos no han tenido ni una ocasión de gol. Hicimos una buena presión, pero ellos estuvieron muy bien colocados. No encontramos situaciones de peligro. La sensación final es de pequeña frustración, pero si alguien ha merecido ganar hemos sido nosotros. Pudimos generar más ocasiones de gol. El equipo está siendo consistente”.
El Submarino suma tres empates seguidos en LaLiga ante Real Madrid, Real Sociedad y Elche. “No me satisfacen estos tres empates seguidos en LaLiga, pero los empates son buenos si ganas el siguiente partido. Hay que reconocer el gran trabajo defensivo del Elche. Para ganar estos partidos hay un momento que el público te empuja. Tenemos que seguir mejorando poco a poco. El equipo está fuerte y eso es algo positivo”.
