Las actuaciones mejoran la accesibilidad, la atención a residentes y familiares y las condiciones del personal y amplían las salas de visita El Ayuntamiento de la Vall d’Uixó ha realizado ocho actuaciones de mejora en el Hogar Sagrada Familia durante este 2019. La concejala de Servicios Sociales, Marian Artero, ha señalado que los objetivos principales de las obras han sido “la mejora en las condiciones de trabajo del personal, la mejora de la atención a los residentes y familiares y la creación de nuevos espacios que amplían las salas de visita de familiares a residentes, ofreciendo la posibilidad de que puedan compartir los momentos de las comidas”. Garantizar la accesibilidad ha sido uno de los motivos de estas medidas. Así, se han creado dos nuevos despachos accesibles para la psicóloga, la trabajadora social y la coordinadora socio-sanitaria y se ha habilitado una sala de espera para la atención de la médica, enfermería y coordinadora socio-sanitaria, que evita que los usuarios y sus familiares esperen en el pasillo ya que ahora disponen de un espacio más cómodo y privado, con sillas y una mesa.
Además se ha abierto una nueva sala de visitas junto al Centro de Día, se ha construido una sala multiusos de 45 m² y se han instalado aparatos de ejercicios físicos adaptados. Esta última se abrirá oficialmente esta tarde y “contribuirá a que los residentes y sus familiares puedan compartir más momentos en su tiempo de ocio o libre, además del de las comidas”, ha indicado Artero. En definitiva, se trata de “naturalizar la vida en la residencia y acercarnos a las condiciones en las que estarían en casa”. Para mejorar las condiciones de trabajo del personal se ha abierto un nuevo despacho polifuncional para la gobernanta, animadora y fisioterapeuta, un vestuario para los hombres y una nueva sala de descanso y para el trabajo de coordinación “en una zona más tranquila y que les permitirá desconectar mejor”, ha finalizado.
