Emery se muestra satisfecho por la imagen del equipo, pero reconoce que el equipo tiene margen de crecimiento
El entrenador del Villarreal, Unai Emery ha comparecido ante los medios de comunicación para analizar el punto cosechado ante la Real Sociedad en el Reale Arena (1-1). El técnico vasco ha destacado la capacidad competitiva del Submarino: “Hemos competido bien. Ha sido un partido en el que han pasado muchas cosas. Hemos tenido fases de dominio. Ellos también. El empate ha sido justo. En la primera parte han estado ellos mejor y en el segundo tiempo hemos revertido la dinámica. Con un poco más de empuje, podríamos habernos llevado el encuentro”.
Además, Emery ha valorado positivamente el empate ante el conjunto ‘txuri-urdin’: “Estoy satisfecho. Es un buen punto contra el líder en su casa. Lo valoramos, pero se queda corto desde nuestra ambición”.
Por último, el entrenador de Hondarribia ha subrayado que, pese a la buena imagen, el Villarreal sigue progresando para alcanzar su mejor versión: “Tenemos margen de mejora. Me gusta que seamos muy competitivos, pero podemos ser mejores y vamos a trabajar en ello”.
