El entrenador del Villarreal destaca la buena imagen ofrecida por su equipo ante el líder
El entrenador del Villarreal, Unai Emery, destacó que su equipo cuajó un gran partido ante el Atlético de Madrid pese al 0-2 final. “No podemos obviar el resultado. A partir de ahí está cómo quieres conseguir el resultado. Hicimos un partido muy completo y solo nos faltó acierto en las dos áreas. Esta es la línea a seguir. En el primer tiempo tuvimos mucho control y encontramos alguna situación clara. Ellos marcaron en una acción aislada. En la segunda empezamos con ciertas dudas y luego llegó su segundo gol. A partir de ahí, en los últimos 30 minutos creamos muchas ocasiones, pero no acertamos”, analizó.
Para el técnico vasco, este resultado no debe minar la moral del equipo: “Si pierdes así tienes que pensar más allá del resultado. Hicimos muchas cosas bien. Tuvimos control, idea de juego y seguimos dando pasos hacia delante. Nos falta ser competitivos en ciertos detalles a lo largo de los 90 minutos”.
