L’Ajuntament de Borriana ha intensificat les labors de neteja i desinfecció de carrers i mobiliari públic del municipi per a combatre la propagació del virus COVID-19, amb un servei extraordinari de neteja, segons ha explicat el regidor de Serveis Públics, Vicent Aparisi.
Així, des de fa tres dies, el Consistori a través de FOBESA, empresa encarregada dels serveis de neteja en la localitat, ha reforçat els serveis “amb el doble d’efectius i de vehicles per a cobrir el major nombre possible de zones de la localitat”, ha assegurat Aparisi.
Sobre aquest tema ha puntualitzat que es realitzaran les faenes de neteja i desinfecció “en tots els carrers”, encara que en aquests moments “s’està prioritzant, de forma especial, en les zones on es preveu una major afluència de persones durant l’estat d’alarma, com poden ser l’entorn i accessos dels centres de salut, de les farmàcies, dels supermercats i dels establiments que romanen oberts per a garantir els serveis bàsics a la ciutadania”.
En el dispositiu especial de neteja i desinfecció, ha indicat el regidor de l’àrea, s’utilitza hipoclorit de sodi al 3%, que és un producte autoritzat per les autoritats sanitàries com a desinfectant. El servei, ha aclarit, s’estén també als carrers per a vianants i al mobiliari urbà de tot el municipi.
Així mateix, els operaris actuen en la desinfecció dels contenidors situats en la via pública, i es realitzarà una neteja de xoc de les àrees de jocs infantils “espais que encara que ara no es poden utilitzar també cal mantenir-los amb les màximes garanties d’higiene i salubritat«.
L’alcaldessa de Borriana, Maria Josep Safont, ha manifestat que l’Ajuntament “està posant en marxa tots els mitjans necessaris per a evitar i eliminar punts de propagació del coronavirus en la via pública”, i ha fet una crida a tots els veïns i a totes les veïnes perquè contribuïsquen amb el servei de neteja, “i depositen adequadament els residus a l’interior dels contenidors de fem i en bosses ben lligades”, per a “garantir al màxim les mesures d’higiene i salubritat en les vies públiques”.
A més, l’alcaldessa ha recordat que els parcs i jardins barrats estan tancats al públic, així com les àrees reservades per a gossos.
